Measurement Configuration

Measurement Configuration defines the measurement positions used by spectrum import, process analysis, and record comparison.

What It Controls

  1. The ordered position list used by measurement files.
  2. The position axis shared by runtime analysis pages.
  3. Position compatibility checks between data containers and process pages.

Operation Steps

  1. Open Coating Line -> Database -> Measurement Configuration.
  2. Create a new configuration and fill sequence number, name, and remark.
  3. Choose one method to define positions:
    • Manually input a position array.
    • Use generator fields (Start, Interval, Quantity) to auto-generate a list.
  4. Verify the generated list is sorted and contains no duplicates.
  5. Save the configuration.
  6. In related modules, load this configuration before importing or analyzing spectrum data.

Validation Checklist

  1. Unit is consistent (typically mm).
  2. Position direction is consistent with your line convention (left-to-right or right-to-left).
  3. Number of positions matches your expected measuring points.

Common Issues

  1. No measurement positions available:
    • Check whether a configuration is loaded.
    • Check whether position list is empty after save.
  2. Imported data cannot align to positions:
    • Check imported file position column format.
    • Check whether list order and coordinate direction are consistent.
  3. Runtime pages report position mismatch:
    • Confirm all involved data containers use the same measurement configuration.
