Coating Line Configuration

Coating Line Configuration defines physical sections and their baseline topology.

Purpose

1. Describe section layout from upstream to downstream.
2. Bind section position metadata used by runtime mapping.
3. Provide stable structure for running configurations.

Operation Steps

1. Open Coating Line -> Database -> Coating Line Configuration.
2. Create or edit a configuration record.
3. Select the target coating line object.
4. Add section items in physical order.
5. For each section, assign a valid target configuration ID.
6. Save and re-open to verify persisted order.

Data Quality Rules

1. Section positions should be unique.
2. Do not skip section indexes if downstream logic expects contiguous mapping.
3. Keep names descriptive so operators can identify sections quickly.

Maintenance Tips

1. Duplicate an existing verified configuration before major changes.
2. Avoid editing a configuration currently used in active production windows.
3. Record revision reason in remark fields.
