Coating Line Configuration
Coating Line Configuration defines physical sections and their baseline topology.
Purpose
- Describe section layout from upstream to downstream.
- Bind section position metadata used by runtime mapping.
- Provide stable structure for running configurations.
Operation Steps
- Open Coating Line -> Database -> Coating Line Configuration.
- Create or edit a configuration record.
- Select the target coating line object.
- Add section items in physical order.
- For each section, assign a valid target configuration ID.
- Save and re-open to verify persisted order.
Data Quality Rules
- Section positions should be unique.
- Do not skip section indexes if downstream logic expects contiguous mapping.
- Keep names descriptive so operators can identify sections quickly.
Maintenance Tips
- Duplicate an existing verified configuration before major changes.
- Avoid editing a configuration currently used in active production windows.
- Record revision reason in remark fields.
