Import and File Format

Symptom: Import rejected due to format​

Checks:

  1. Verify required header names.
  2. Verify delimiter and decimal format.
  3. Verify numeric columns contain valid numbers only.
  4. Verify encoding is readable by current importer.

Symptom: Measurement position column not recognized​

Checks:

  1. Verify position header matches expected format.
  2. Verify position values are numeric and ordered.
  3. Verify measurement configuration exists and is compatible.

Symptom: Imported data appears shifted or incomplete​

Checks:

  1. Verify wavelength range overlap with module requirements.
  2. Verify row and column index settings for custom formats.
  3. Verify no hidden rows or merged cells in source sheet.
  1. Keep one validated template per instrument type.
  2. Run small-sample import before batch import.
  3. Store original source file for traceability.
